Refashion & Eco-modulation 2026:

Understanding bonus pathways beyond durability and what can block it

Original webinar date: Tuesday, 29 September 2026

Durability is only one part of the Refashion eco-modulation opportunity. Alongside the durability bonus, the 2026 Refashion framework includes bonus pathways for environmental certification and the incorporation of recycled raw materials. At the same time, penalties for metalloplastic fibres and embedded electronics can affect a product reference, and a product subject to a penalty cannot receive a bonus.

For brands managing large and varied product portfolios, the challenge is therefore broader than asking, “Does this product need durability testing?”

Teams need to understand which refashion eco-modulation pathways are relevant to each product reference, how bonuses can be combined on the same reference, what could prevent eligibility, and what evidence is required to support each route.

In this webinar, our expert will take you beyond a durability-only view of Refashion and explore the full 2026 refashion eco-modulation framework across fashion, household linen and footwear.

You will learn how the different bonus pathways work, where testing, certification, recycled-material information and supporting documentation come into play, and how to identify the most relevant opportunities and risks across your product portfolio.

With the 30 November 2026 deadline for pre-declaring eligible references, including the supporting evidence required for bonus claims, approaching, this session will help your teams answer a bigger question:

Are you looking at the full refashion eco-modulation opportunity, or only one part of it?

Agenda:

  • Understand the full Refashion eco-modulation 2026 framework, including durability, environmental certification, recycled raw materials and penalty triggers.
  • Explore where durability testing and accredited laboratory evidence fit within the bonus pathway.
  • Understand the requirements and supporting evidence for environmental certification and recycled raw materials.
  • Identify how metalloplastic fibres and embedded electronics can create penalty exposure and affect bonus eligibility.
  • Build a portfolio-level action plan to prioritise product references, existing evidence and next steps ahead of the 30 November 2026 pre-declaration deadline.
